The trailer of the web series Pati Patni Aur Panga is out, and lead actors Adah Sharma and Naveen Kasturia opened up on the the six-episode show, written and directed by Abir Sengupta.
Adah claimed, about her role: “It’s a role no girl has played in India before for sure, and I can’t wait for people to watch it. This series will not just make you laugh, it also throws light on stereotypes that exist in our society.”
” ‘Pati Patni Aur Panga’ is a light-hearted comedy but with a social message . That makes it a great story. Working with Adah has been so much fun and Abir has blended the story well for the audiences to be entertained and also beautifully bring out the underlying message. Working on this project has been a wonderful experience for me,” added Naveen.
The story of the show revolves around Romanchak, a small time broker, and a girl named Shivangi, who get married and then Romanchak discovers a bizarre secret about his wife.
Ali Kabir

Ali Kabir is a popular producer and production manager who works predominately in the Bollywood film industry and television industry. Ali lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and started his career as a line producer at IN10 Media Network. He worked there for a year from August 2020 to September 2021. Then, he worked at Sundail Films as a line producer for a couple of months. Then, he shifted to Nirvikar Films LLP as a line producer in March 2022. He is known for the movie, Raat Baaki Hai and the television series, Illegal-Justice, Out of Order, Main Hero Boll Raha Hu, Hostages, and many more. Some of his works are Mom and Co., The Verdict-State Vs. Nanavati, Pati Patni Aur Panga, The Married Woman, and Runaway Lugaai. He has worked as a production manager in multiple movies and TV series. A few of them are Pehredaar Piya Ki, Tu Mera Hero, Satrangi Sasural, and Nirdosh. His TV series are released on different OTT Platforms such as Disney+ Hotstar, MX Player, etc.
Abhimanyu Sengupta

Abhimanyu Sengupta is a Hindi cinematographer who has worked on films, commercials, and advertisements. He began working in 2015 for the short movie Kos, producing special effects in the film with the help of a camera. The names of the movies for which Abhimanyu has worked as a cinematographer include Ritviz: Jeet [music video released in 2018], Pati Patni Aur Panga [TV series released in 2020], Mrs Undercover [A Zee 5 Original Film released in 2023], etc. Besides, he has worked as a DOP or cinematographer for the commercials of Nykaa Fashion, Axis Bank, Volvo V90, Century Ply, Vim Bar, Snapdeal, UTI Mutual Fund, Centerfresh and MTV Promo for the occasion of Valentine’s Day.
Tanika Bhattacharjee

Tanika Bhattacharjee is a Director’s Assistant at Emmay Entertainment & Motion Pictures. She has completed her education at NSHM Knowledge Campus, Kolkata Group of Institutions where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Media Science and completed her schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya at NSHM Knowledge Campus, Kolkata in CS. While in the industry, she has worked at various companies in many roles such as Director’s Assistant at Emmay Entertainment & Motion Pictures, Assistant Director at MX Player, Post Production Supervisor at MangOrange Productions, Account Executive at Eulogy, Dialogue Consultant/ Director’s Assistant at Anushree Abir Entertainment, Account Executive at Media Mantra. Tanika is known for Jomer Raja Dilo Bor (2015), Mrs. Undercover (2023), and Torbaaz (2020).
Jaideep Sahni

Jaideep Sahni is an Indian screenwriter and lyricist known for his contribution in Bollywood. Born in 1968, Jaideep was brought up in New Delhi. In his school days, Jaideep could not understand the differences between the arts and science streams, as he loved these academic fields. Later, he opted for science subjects instead of arts. He continued his education at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Bidar that is located in the state of Karnataka. Fondly known as JD during his college days, his friends considered him as an intelligent student who kept quiet in most of the time. He worked with NIIT Limited, a learning-based company as a computer engineer.
He turned his attention towards writing when he found Oscar-winning movie Gandhi’s screenplay in a New Delhi-based bookshop. He did not hesitate to become a lyricist after attending jam sessions with Palash Sen of Euphoria band. Jaideep used to work in advertising agencies where he was acquainted with Ram Gopal Varma who was looking for a new writer. After admitting that he had no prior experience of scriptwriting, the film director selected him for “Jungle.” Though critically panned, Jungle became a hit in terms of finance. His second outing, Company was well received by critics and audiences alike and won seven Filmfare awards.
Amit Joshi

Amit Joshi is an Indian director, working mainly in Bollywood films. After graduating with a Master of Computer Application, he got employed in Delhi. He quit his job to become a screenwriter. As a child, Joshi loved cartooning but later developed an interest in poetry. He has also attempted to write a book titled – “Mera Prem Sweekar Karo,” which is yet to be published. Besides cartoons and poetry, he was inclined toward sports and developing ideas for stories. Watching Hindi films helped him understand the nuances of moviemaking. Then he went on to write for theatre before his venture into screenwriting; the theatre experience gave him a better understanding of his writing and helped him analyze and evaluate his writing.
Joshi is known for his contribution as a screenwriter in the film Trapped (2016), starring Rajkumar Rao as the central character. The story is about Shaurya, who unknowingly locks himself inside a new home with no necessities. The plot revolves around the protagonist and his attempt to survive. In 2018 the movie was nominated for the Technical Awards for the best story and best screenplay. Joshi’s film – Trapped; is inspired by a similar incident that happened to him during his stay in a flat in Mumbai. This incident conceived the idea of Trapped. Through this film, he wanted to portray that we are occupied by technology and don’t have time for self-reflection.
Ayan Khan

Ayan Khan is a casting director. He has worked for various reality shows on MTV. Some of them are Splits Villa and Roadies. Ayan is also well-known for Bigboss promos. He had also worked on shows like Fanah, Yeh hai Ashiqui, fear files, and many more. Ayan khan’s recent work includes Splitsvilla 12 and Roadies real heroes. He had also worked in Secret diaries as an Independent casting director. His film Man to man is going to be screened at the International film festival, Neha Sharma and Navin Kasturi are the major characters in the film.
Ayan khan is associated with the Bigboss team for the past 4 years. Ayan had completed his graduation in commerce from Delhi University. He came from Delhi to Mumbai to become a businessman. After suggestions from some common friends, he started working as executive director. Ayan enjoys this work and he sees himself as a producer and wants to make good shows and films in the upcoming time.
Utkarsha Dighe

Ms. Utkarsha Dighe is an Indian costume Designer. Her mother is Kunda Dighe and her brother is Mr. Umang Dighe. She grew up in ONGC township. Ms. Dighe completed her schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya (1996-2007) and pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) – Family and Community Science (Fashion Design) from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda from 2007-2010. In 2010 she enrolled in the School of Fashion Technology-NIFT for her PgD program in Fashion Design and Clothing Technology. From June 2009 Ms. Dighe started her journey as a costume designer. She has designed Indian Kurtis at Seasons Vadodara and also acted as Visual Merchandiser for 21 days.
In December 2009, Ms. Dighe worked as a designer at Flowers Fashion for females, in Surat. She has designed costumes for various Bollywood films, short films and television series. These include Savdhaan India (2014), Perhaps (2014), Bho Bho (2016), Kaande Pohe (2020), Soulsathi (2020), Unkahee(2020), Pati Patni Aur Panga (2020), Butterflies 2 (2021), Dream Boy (2021), Arranged (2022), Butterflies 3 (2022), and Butterflies (2021-2023).
Ms. Dighe has designed clothes for Oriya actress Ms. Megha Ghosh’s movie Mu Ashiq Mu Awara. She has designed the lingerie collection of Libra Products, Mumbai. She has assisted Ms. Neha Bajaj for her television commercials. These include Fortis Hospital, RBL Bank, Grofers, Danone, and Airtel commercials. Ms. Dighe has also designed costumes for DBS Bank’s documentary. She has also assisted Nidhi Gambhi, Pampa Biswas, Shrushti Donde, and Sanjay Shah with various television commercials like Kalyan Jewellers, Simply Learn App, Dhathri Hair Oil, and Droom website.
