Full of fast-paced shots, a conundrum of emotions, wild music and gripping one-liners, the two minutes and thirty-eight seconds-long trailer hints at a gripping original, triggering a poignant and profound train of thoughts. The series is based on Satyajit Ray’s four short stories: Spotlight, Bahurupiya, Barin Bhowmik-er Byaram (Hungama Hai Kyon Barpa) and Bipin Chowdhury’s Smritibhrom (Memory Loss).

The trailer begins with over-the-shoulder shots of four main characters with a voice-over saying, ”mankind is no different from god since it too can give birth”. It introduces us to Ipsit Nair (played by Ali Fazal), a successful entrepreneur with an eidetic memory. Next, we see a Bollywood superstar played by Harshvarrdhan Kapoor, who encounters a god-like woman that takes his fancy. Musafir Ali (played by Manoj Bajpayee), a ghazal player, comes into the picture as a man on a quest to seek his lost fame. And we meet Kay Kay Menon in glimpses whose character wants to be a make-up artist despite having a stable job.
